Revise over the PowerPoint presentation and practice your sentences.

Make the video explaining about the plant experiment you have done, showing me your plants. I am listening for comparative language, for example: bigger, smaller, taller, shorter… You should also use vocabulary explaining different parts of the plants: seed, roots, stem, leaf/leaves… You should use a minimum of 6 sentences.

ACTIVITY 1 - Watch the video of the PowerPoint presentation we are preparing about Greta Thunberg. You must practise the sentences for your slide. Make sure your pronunciation is correct! It is a good idea to play the video twice and practise saying your sentences both times.

ACTIVITY 2 - You need to do an experiment! As your topic in science is PLANTS, you have to complete the experiment, then you will need to send me a video comparing and explaining the results. Watch the video...

You are to prepare two different cups for your bean seed (or any other seed you have in your house!)

In one cup you are to add water and leave the seed to in the air and sunlight.
In the other cup, add water, but then leave it in the back of a dark cupboard and do not let it have sunlight.
After 7 days, you are to make a video of yourself explaining how the seeds have changed. ACTIVITY 3 will help you to be able to structure sentences to compare the seeds.
Your video should be no longer than 2 minutes and you need to send it to my email address before Friday 27th March: jane.conversation@gmail.com
